Our Mission

Buzzaboo is built on the belief that everyone deserves a platform to express themselves, connect with others, and build communities around shared interests. These Community Guidelines exist to ensure Buzzaboo remains a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all users.

Core Principles

❌ Prohibited Content & Behavior

1. Violence & Threats

Not Allowed:

• Threats of violence against individuals or groups
• Incitement to violence or self-harm
• Glorification of violence or violent extremism
• Graphic depictions of violence or gore (outside of newsworthy or educational contexts)
• Content depicting animal cruelty or abuse

2. Hate Speech & Harassment

Not Allowed:

• Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Harassment, bullying, or coordinated attacks against individuals
• Doxxing (sharing private information without consent)
• Stalking or unwanted sexual attention
• Content promoting hate groups or ideologies

Note: Criticism and debate are allowed, but personal attacks are not.

3. Sexual Content

Not Allowed:

• Pornography or sexually explicit content
• Sexual exploitation, including of minors (zero tolerance)
• Non-consensual intimate images
• Sexual solicitation

Context Matters: Educational, artistic, or medical content with sexual themes may be allowed if properly labeled and not gratuitous.

4. Illegal Activities

Not Allowed:

• Promotion or facilitation of illegal activities
• Sale or promotion of illegal drugs
• Sale of firearms, explosives, or regulated goods
• Hacking, phishing, or distribution of malware
• Copyright infringement or piracy
• Fraud, scams, or financial exploitation

5. Spam & Manipulation

Not Allowed:

• Spam, including repetitive messages or unsolicited advertising
• View botting or artificial inflation of metrics
• Fake accounts or impersonation
• Phishing or attempts to steal credentials
• Manipulation of platform features or algorithms

6. Self-Harm & Dangerous Behavior

Not Allowed:

• Content promoting suicide or self-harm
• Dangerous stunts or challenges that risk serious injury
• Promotion of eating disorders

7. Misinformation

Not Allowed:

• Medical misinformation that could cause harm (e.g., fake cures)
• Election misinformation designed to suppress voting
• Conspiracy theories that incite harm or panic
• Manipulated media (deepfakes) presented as real without disclosure

✅ Streamer-Specific Guidelines

Content Standards

• Age-Appropriate Content: If your content is intended for mature audiences, use appropriate content labels
• Copyright Compliance: Only stream content you have the rights to, including music, videos, and games
• Sponsorships & Ads: Clearly disclose sponsored content and paid promotions
• Guest Behavior: You are responsible for the behavior of guests on your stream

Chat Moderation

• Streamers are expected to moderate their chat and take action against rule violations
• Use Buzzaboo's moderation tools (bans, timeouts, filters) to maintain a healthy chat environment
• Assign moderators to help manage your community

Prohibited Streaming Practices

• Swatting or dangerous pranks that could harm individuals or waste emergency resources
• Stream sniping or other forms of targeted harassment
• Encouraging chat to brigade or harass other channels
• Botting or viewcount manipulation

⚠️ Enforcement & Consequences

Reporting

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the report button. Our moderation team reviews reports 24/7.

Penalties

Violations may result in:

• Warning: First-time minor violations
• Content Removal: Offending content deleted
• Temporary Suspension: 1-30 days, depending on severity
• Permanent Ban: For severe or repeated violations
• Loss of Monetization: Removal from partner program
• Legal Action: For criminal activity, child exploitation, or serious threats

Strikes System

Most violations result in strikes against your account:

• Strike 1: Warning + content removal
• Strike 2: 7-day suspension
• Strike 3: 30-day suspension
• Strike 4: Permanent ban

Strikes expire after 90 days of good standing.

Appeals

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you may appeal through your account dashboard within 14 days.
